Dear Participants,

As the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Türkiye; through the International CBRN Congresses held in 2017, 2019, and 2024, significant and lasting contributions have been made toward increasing awareness of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats and hazards at national and international levels, strengthening information sharing, and enhancing inter-institutional cooperation.

At our congresses, numerous national and international scientists, experts, academics, students, as well as representatives from public and private sectors have come together; current threats and solution approaches in the CBRN field have been comprehensively addressed.

With this experience, we are honored and pleased to invite you to the 4th International CBRN Congress, which will be held on 6–9 October 2026 in Ankara at the AFAD Headquarters.

Within the framework of the congress program; CBRN threat and risk analyses, innovative strategies, current technological developments, and scientific studies will be addressed; in addition to technical sessions, oral and poster presentations will also be included. Furthermore, national and international companies operating in the CBRN field will have the opportunity to exhibit and promote their products in designated exhibition areas.

On the final day of the congress, a demonstration based on a CBRN incident response scenario will be carried out by AFAD teams.

We would be honored to welcome all participants who will contribute to our Congress with their knowledge and experience in the CBRN field, and we look forward to meeting you in Ankara on 6–9 October 2026.

Sincerely,
4th International CBRN Congress Secretariat
